Hala was born in the United Arab Emirates and moved to the UK to start her medical school training at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals.
Hala has extensive private practice experience. She has a wealth of experience working in different general practice settings. She’s passionate about delivering a personal and premium service to her patients, supporting generations of families. Hala is always extending her knowledge by developing areas of specialist interest and has completed further diplomas in mental health, obstetrics and gynaecology (particularly the menopause), children’s health and dermatology.
Hala lives with her husband and three children who keep her on her toes. She is a keen runner and has completed a number of marathons, New York being the next one she has her eye on!
Dr Lucy Ansell

Lucy qualified from Nottingham Medical School with First Class Honours in 2006 and spent her house officer years and GP training around Cheltenham and Gloucester. She was an NHS partner at a practice in Cirencester before making the change to become purely private in 2016.
Working within all aspects of general practice, Lucy has post-graduate diplomas in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Family Planning. She has also undertaken specialist training in perimenopause and menopause medicine and has strong links with local and London consultants.
With a passion for continuity and availability, Lucy makes sure her patients get as much of her time as they need while keeping them up-to-date with the latest advances in medicine. Lucy has strong links with both private GPs and specialists in London as well as locally, and is very experienced in managing families who have more than one residence. She has a wealth of experience in managing large households and their staff.

Liam gained extensive experience managing emergencies in the hospital but also in the community quickly becoming a real all-rounder. Liam particularly enjoyed the community aspect of his job prompting the decision to move to General Practice. During this time he developed an interest in private medicine having heard about the different approach taken by the Linbury Doctors.
Liam was drawn to the Linbury doctors due to the bespoke nature of their work; centred around continuity, small list size and their availability to their patients. He has a particular interest in dermatology, minor surgery, children’s health and sports/exercise medicine.
In his spare time, Liam likes to watch his home town team – Huddersfield, attempt to play football but also plays himself. Liam is proud to captain his local team for the past few years and really enjoys this special role within his local community.
Liam has a young family and enjoys looking after his son Jack (as well as two cats Max & Paddy). When he is not playing football he likes to keep fit by riding his bike and going to the gym.
Dr Ferdi Daley Morris

Ferdi qualified from Warwick Medical School in 2012 after completing a Biomedical Science degree in Cardiff. He’s since worked in a wide range of practices throughout Wiltshire and Gloucestershire as well as the 111 Urgent Care Team. With a long-standing interest in biomechanics, anatomy and sports, Ferdi has nurtured this into a specialist interest by completing additional training in joint injection techniques and attaining a post-graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He has also been heavily involved in education and training throughout his career; he has co-founded award-winning educational projects and has regularly taught and supervised medical students and trainee GPs.
Ferdi was initially attracted to General Practice by the clinical variety of the job and the enjoyment of building rapport and lasting relationships with patients. The desire to provide optimal care and continuity led to his transition into private healthcare, having identified Linbury as a company where these are both fundamental foundations. In his spare time, Ferdi greatly enjoys music and plays the trumpet. He enjoys golf, travel, gardening and, as an avid sports fan, follows as much rugby and motorsport as being a father to his young daughter allows!
Dr Lisa Dawson

Lisa was raised in Kent and went to study medicine at University of Liverpool Medical School where she qualified as a doctor with First Class Honours in 2010.
She gained extensive experience in both inner city and rural hospitals
before deciding to pursue her passion for community and family medicine. Lisa relocated to embark on her GP training and very quickly fell in love with the Cotswolds. She has made this her home and now lives here with her husband and four children.
Lisa enjoys the holistic care that general practice enables her to give to her patients and this was one of the features that drew her to Linbury. Lisa feels being someone’s doctor is a privilege and that her patients deserve the time and space they need to explore all their concerns. At Linbury, she has found that she is able to provide this level of care to all of her patients; alongside this
comes the continuity of care that she feels is so important.
Lisa enjoys all areas of medicine and relishes the breadth of knowledge that general practice requires of a doctor. She does have a particular interest in paediatrics, women’s health and end-of-life care.
Dr Claire Horder

Dr Claire completed a first-class degree in Biological Sciences at The University Of Birmingham before pursuing a career in pharmaceutical sales covering the main London Hospitals. However, her passion for medicine and science lead to the completion of a graduate entry medical degree at the University Of Warwick. Early years working at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and then completing GP training in Worcestershire has given her strong links to the local community in both primary and secondary care.
The ability to provide continuity of care for patients and a holistic management plan is what attracted Claire to work at Linbury where these values can be upheld to provide a high level of patient care. Claire’s special interests include; joint injections, women’s health and HRT, dermatology and palliative care.
In her spare time, Claire is a self-confessed ‘fitness fanatic’; she is on the competitors’ programme at her local gym and enjoys Olympic weight lifting as well as cardiovascular fitness, competing at a local level in Crossfit competitions and more recently at Hyrox as a solo athlete and same-sex as well as mixed-sex pairs competitions. To balance this, Claire also has a keen interest in yoga, especially hot yoga, but also enjoys Yin yoga for a slower pace.

Nikki was born and qualified in Cape Town, South Africa, where she graduated from UCT with First Class Honours in 1998.
After working in SA for 2 years, Nikki came to the UK to experience a different healthcare system and broaden her horizons. She worked in London Hospitals (Barts and the Royal London) for 3 years doing A&E, Adult Medicine, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology before moving to Worcestershire to become a GP in 2005.
During her time in London, I attained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).Nikki also sat the Diploma of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG), for which she was awarded the Gold Medal Prize as the top candidate.
Nikki joined a very busy NHS GP Partnership in 2007 and took the Senior Partner role for 7 years, whilst concurrently being Clinical Director for Worcester City Primary Care Network (10 GP practices in Worcester) for 4 years developing a host of new patient services during this time.
Nikki made the decision to move to Linbury Doctors in order to have more time with patients, truly getting to know them and their families. Nikki’s values are aligned with Linbury Doctors with a passion for excellent access and continuity being central to high-quality, personalised health care. Nikki enjoys every aspect of general practice, especially that every day brings something new.
When not at work, she enjoys family time spending time, travelling together, and building family memories whether on an active adventure or chilling beach and book vibes. Nikki enjoys keeping fit by cycling and going to the gym.
Dr Rachel Garrett

Most recently Rachel has been a salaried GP at a busy teaching practice in Abingdon, a job which she have loved. Rachel has also worked for the local NHS out-of-hours service.
Rachel has a particular interest in dermatology, women’s health and palliative care but has a breadth of experience from her training that helps with all aspects of general practice.
Rachel says, “I was attracted to Linbury Doctors by the emphasis on continuity of care. To have time to spend with my patients, to understand them and provide a personalised level of service that we all deserve.”
Rachel now lives back in the West Berkshire area, with her husband and two children. In her spare time she can be found playing netball, keeping fit or taking the dog for walk, whilst juggling the children’s various activities and clubs.
Dr Oliver Butters

Dr Oli graduated from University College London in 2013 and attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2016. Before pursuing a career in general practice, he worked as a registrar in oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Through this post, he gained invaluable experience in oncology, acute medicine, pain management, management of chronic disease and palliative medicine.
Oli completed his GP training in the London Deanery and has since worked in a wide range of GP practices across London, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire as well as in Urgent Care Centers and 111 Out of Hours Centres.
Oli was attracted to Linbury because of the importance placed on continuity of care and giving patients as much time as they need to address all their concerns.
Oli recently relocated from London to Oxfordshire with his wife and three young children and has been enjoying exploring the countryside with them.
Dr Pippa Hart

Dr Pippa grew up in rural Staffordshire and completed her medical degree at Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2012. During her 6 years of university studies, she also gained an intercalated honours degree at The University of Edinburgh in physiology.
Once graduated from medical school she moved back to Edinburgh to complete her postgraduate training which included 3 years of anaesthetics and intensive care medicine before deciding to transfer training programmes to become a GP. Pippa was a GP Partner in an NHS practice in the beautiful Scottish Borders for 4 years before relocating to Oxfordshire with her husband and their much-loved black Labrador, Inger.
Pippa has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine and pain management. She is also passionate about disease prevention through the promotion of a good lifestyle which encompasses a healthy diet, exercise and enjoying the great outdoors. She has chosen to work with Linbury Doctors as they mirror her values as a GP. She believes that every patient deserves great access to their GP, where a tailored and holistic approach is at the forefront of care with a GP that they can call their own and can trust.
Pippa is a keen hill runner, practices Pilates regularly and loves nothing more than a countryside dog walk with a pit stop for a delicious pub lunch. She also loves to travel, with her favourite countries visited so far being Canada and the Nordics. Although she will miss the rugged beauty of the Scottish Borders, she is very much looking forward to calling the rolling green hills of Oxfordshire her new home and place of work.
Dr Megan Straiton

Working within all aspects of general practice, Megan has post-graduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has also undertaken specialist additional training in joint injections, dermatology and minor skin surgery.
Megan enjoys the clinical variety- having done Paediatrics and obstetrics during her training, as well as working in palliative care, and overseeing multiple nursing homes in her previous roles. She has changed to private practice as she realises the value of continuity, and wants to ensure her patients get as much of her time as they need while keeping them up-to-date with the latest guidance and research. In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her 3 children, playing netball, and attends her local church.

Katie graduated from Cardiff University in 2015 and spent her foundation and GP training years in South Wales and Gloucestershire, gaining experience in care of the elderly, paediatrics and general medicine. She has since spent 6 years in a Cheltenham based NHS surgery, alongside working as part time private GP. She has undertaken additional training in dermoscopy, minor surgery and joint injections and has a special interest in Aesthetics. She was the lead for skin surgery at her practice and enjoys all hands on procedures.
Katie greatly values continuity and unrushed care, which is why she has migrated towards more time spent in private practice. Getting to know her patients and caring for multi-generations, Katie relishes building lasting connections with her patients.
At home, Katie is a mum to 2 girls and enjoys spending her spare time dog walking, running and gardening. She hopes to eventually get back into road cycling but it’s not such a baby friendly activity for now!
Dr Nicola Hodgkins

Nicola graduated from Cardiff University in 2002 and went on to gain postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Family Planning. She has additional qualifications in menopause care and dermatology.
Nicola has over 20 years’ experience working as a GP, both as a salaried doctor and more recently as a GP Partner in Chipping Campden. Throughout her career, she has held a number of clinical lead roles in areas including women’s health, frailty, osteoporosis, dementia and palliative care.
Nicola has also enjoyed teaching and mentoring medical students and GP trainees, and supporting a clinical pharmacist as an educational supervisor.
Nicola values being able to spend time with her patients, allowing her to better understand their needs in order to provide high quality, personalised care.
Nicola lives in the Cotswolds with her husband, their four children and new puppy. Outside work, she enjoys country walks, pub lunches, travelling, swimming, and baking for family and friends.

Adam joins Linbury Doctors with over 10 years of experience working in Oxfordshire, firstly at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and later as a GP in North Oxfordshire and Thame. He believes that exceptional healthcare goes beyond addressing immediate symptoms, and takes the time to understand each patient’s full clinical picture, lifestyle, and individual goals.
After graduating from the University of Bristol with degrees in both Pharmacology and Medicine, he moved to Oxford and has tailored his training to include accreditation as a Level 1 Health Coach and also in Flow Neuroscience tDCS therapy (for moderate-to-severe depression disorder). He has served as a GP Tutor for the University of Oxford Graduate Entry Medical School and worked with NHS England as a Training Hub Programme Director, helping shape the future of primary care workforce development and education. With previous clinical roles in respiratory medicine, paediatrics, and mental health, Adam values the breadth and versatility of general practice. Adam is passionate about improving services and accessibility for all, and is dedicated to building an inclusive and neuro-affirming approach to all people under his care.
Outside of medicine, Adam is an active sports enthusiast who enjoys playing badminton and football but also unwinds by birdwatching and attempting to maintain his garden. He is a proud dad to 3 young girls and enjoys days out in nature with his family.

After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2016, Sam gained experience across a broad range of medical specialties, building a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of both acute and long-term health conditions. In 2019, he completed a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine, reflecting his interest in preventative healthcare, lifestyle medicine, and helping patients optimise their health and wellbeing.
Working in General Practice since 2020, Sam has provided compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Between 2024 and 2026, he worked in private General Practice and Aged Care on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Australia, where he cared for patients from a wide range of backgrounds in a busy private healthcare setting. This experience strengthened his commitment to delivering accessible, personalised care with an emphasis on continuity, prevention, and building relationships with patients.
Having returned to Oxfordshire to be closer to family, Sam is delighted to be caring for patients in the local community.
Outside of medicine, Sam is a proud father of his young daughter. He is a keen golfer and skier, enjoys touch rugby, and is an enthusiastic follower of rugby and Formula One.
